And the trophy goes to… (The Communicator Awards)

This year, after learning so much about the market we are in and growing into our best selves, we decided to take a risk and submit one of our most challenging projects for The Communicator Awards. By winning a Communicator Award, you set the standard for impactful communication and join a community of talented peers and professionals.

We submitted and won on 2 categories: Cavalière in Integrated & Multi-Channel Campaigns – Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle Category. and Cavalière in Integrated & Multi-Channel Campaigns – Video or Moving Image Category.

The CAVALIER campaign was designed by our team as a challenge within ourselves, collaborating with a friend in business as in real life, Paula Santos and her jewelry. We built this beautiful piece of content that really showed us what we are capable of. After this, our standard of quality has never been the same. The whole experience, from finding the right location, to shooting live subjects, finding actresses, writing the story, and bringing the ideas to life through colors and rhythm in our editing process, really reminded us of the joy you get when building something truly exceptional.

Only other professionals can understand the feeling you get when you are alone in an editing room, in a workflow that almost feels like an out of body experience, and the whole time you just cannot believe you are building something like this. That is why sharing your work with your peers is such a stressful experience, because they know what it takes and they also critique from the highest point of authority. Getting this award is not only a moment of happiness, but it has made us make a commitment to a community of our peers to keep the quality and to keep the bar as high as we can, so we can keep surprising each other with the wonderful creations that come from the human mind.

Thank you to everyone involved, and to any other marketing professional that might be reading this blog entry: don’t be scared to bring those wild ideas to life, and don’t let people who say that AI is going to take your job scare you into killing your creative spark. AI will never level with you, because machines are logical, and humans are not. The swirling ideas in your brain are what make all the content we put out connect with other people, and that, is the only point of doing this job.
